Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we use no advertising trackers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it.
1. Who we are
WebRemodel is a trade name of Bioinformatix LLC. We redesign, host and maintain websites for small businesses. For any question about privacy, send us a message.
2. What we collect
Public business information
To build free previews, we review businesses’ public websites and public listings, such as maps and business directories, and copy what a business publishes about itself: its name, address, phone number, hours, services, text and photos. We use this only to make that business’s preview and to contact the business about it.
What you send us
When you send us a message, use one of our forms, book a call or become a client, we receive what you provide: typically your name, your business, your email address, your phone number, your website and the content you want on your site.
Domain registration
If you ask us to register a domain for you, we collect the details a registrar requires from the owner of a domain: your name or business name, postal address, email address and phone number. We pass them to the registrar to register the domain in your name.
Billing information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card or bank details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address, billing address, plan and payment history in order to run your account.
Visits to webremodel.co
Our website uses no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no sign-in. Our host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and time) for security and troubleshooting. We use Google Search Console, which shows us only aggregate figures such as how often our pages appear in search results. Our booking page embeds a Google Calendar scheduler; when you open it, your browser connects to Google, and the details you enter to book a call reach us through Google.
3. How we use it
- To make previews and to contact businesses about them.
- To build, host, update and support our clients’ websites and listings.
- To register a domain in your name when you ask us to.
- To bill clients, send receipts and reminders, and keep accounting records.
- To answer your questions and keep our services secure.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
5. Visitors to our clients’ websites
On the websites we host for clients, the business is responsible for its visitors’ information, and we process it on the business’s behalf. When a visitor sends a message through a contact form on a client’s site, we deliver it to that business by email from a WebRemodel sending address. We do not read, keep or use those messages. To limit spam, we briefly keep a one-way hashed version of the sender’s IP address together with the time of sending, then discard it. Questions about a message you sent to a business should be directed to that business.
6. How long we keep it
- A preview the business does not want is taken down on request, and the copied content is deleted.
- Client information is kept while you are a client. After your plan ends we keep your site files for 30 days, then delete them.
- A domain we register for you is yours; its registration details stay with the registrar under your account, not with us.
- Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years.
- Correspondence is kept while it is needed to support you, and deleted when it no longer is.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us what information we hold about you or your business, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Send us a message and we reply within 30 days. We may have to keep records the law requires, such as invoices. Every email we send about our services tells you how to opt out.
8. Security
All our sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to client sites, billing and email is limited to us and to the people who work on your site, and is protected by two-step sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident ever affects your information, we notify you promptly and explain what we are doing about it.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to clients, we email them before it takes effect. Our Terms of Service govern the rest of our relationship with clients.
